Abstract: This documentary film portrays the story of four foreign trained doctors who are struggling to become licensed to practise medicine in Ontario. The film raises awareness about the shortage of licensed doctors in Ontario and the challenges and barriers which prevent foreign trained doctors from becoming licensed and recognized within the health care system. The film focuses on the story of four people, Dr. Nazia Tauseef from Pakistan; Dr. Slobodan Lemez from Bosnia and Herzegovina; Dr. Gabriel Cardenas from Guatemala; and Dr. Abdel Bashir from Sudan and their attempts at having their foreign credentials recognized by the Ontario health care system.
